State of Recordings in TV Recordings won't be actualized correctly
#1
Hi,

currently I'm using VDR 2.1.6 with vnsiserrver 1.2.0 and Kodi 14.1rc1 on different machines.

If I go to the TV Recordings screen I get a list of my TV recordings and in the right column the state of each recording (unwatches, partly watched and watched) is displayed.

If I now change the state of one recording manually, the state will be changed immediately as expected. But, if I watch an unseen recording partly or complete, the state will not be changed until I restart the VDR server or resttart Kodi.

I think this is a general pvr issue because vnsi/vdr does not store a state of recordings. Do you really need to restart the vdr server?

Yes, this could be. But I don't have the possibility to compare between different PVR backends. Restarting of vdr server does the job w/o any interactions at the kodi box, and of course restarting Kodi does it too.
Some days ago I went back for testing another issue to vdr 2.0.6 and then I run into the "vnsi Recordings state changed" issue (http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=210534). But, with this combination, actualizing worked much better. I can't remember if it worked perfectly, but if I changed to another screen in Kodi and went back to TV - Recordings screen, the watched state were always correct.

I tested a little bit more: Restarting vdr does only the job if there are timers programmed. If not, status won't be actualized.

playcount and resume_last_pos is stored in the pvr database. looks like some pvr function missed to update the sate, only does if triggered by some other event.

could you file a bug on trac for that?
