Ok. I can replicate that. It seems that installing from the zip file is giving it the wrong name when it extracts it. You need to rename the folder to service.bbclivefootballscores
I'll look into sorting that though.

Is anyone else having an issue with the progress dialog that flashes up when you try to open the match detail window? It's not always disappearing for me. If anyone else is having the same problem then I'll take a look at it.

my not work for me, however if KEYMAP if a file is created.

Don't need a keymap now. Should also be available by going to the settings for the add-on, selecting "Actions" and then picking from the options there.
Future versions (i.e. after service is added to official repo) will look to add a program option so these can be loaded without having to go via settings.

Shouldn't do. Depends on how many leagues you follow. It checks for updates once a minute and (if I remember correctly) sends one web request per league. There's some web parsing but this shouldn't be onerous.
best way to find out would be to try it!

i've installed it
when i enter configuration and click "select competition" - nothing happens.
