Great to see that the PVROSDCHANNELS has been done!
I love the way it looks and the animation.

I wonder if it could somehow be possible to add the next aired show for each channel in the OSD?

I think i would be a nice info when changing channel, and another show is just about to start, but it not started just jet.
I cant seem to figure out how it should look, but maybe channel names and airing show could be made at bit smaller, and then add a 3rd line with "comming up:" or "Next show:"

It's in the skin settings now (home/use slideshow as default widget....set path). It was a later addition so you may need to download from git again. I just install the zip straight over the top and it works perfectly.

Strange. It works for me on most things I've tried. Are you using v0.9.12 of the skin? And is the extended info version from the official repo? I'm assuming the videos you are trying are coming from the library and not some addon.

is the new extended info just invoked by pressing info during playback? if so i'm not getting any errors on my end.

No, from the osd controls - the "Extra Info" option trys to pull up the extended info dialog for the currently playing movie/tvshow.

Yeah I was thinking about this, but I couldn't get something that didn't look cluttered or reduce the number of items shown. I figure if you want to see what is next on there are plenty of options: epg timeline, tv channels, and pvrosdguide
However, I will keep thinking/trying possible ways to display the info as I can definitely see the utility of it.

This has already been asked. The problem is that it would go where it says "Paused" and then there is no indicator that the movie is paused. I don't want to put it elsewhere because it would add clutter. Plus, I figure that if the movie is paused then the finish time changes anyway. You can see finish time by pressing info whilst the video is playing.

ah i never pull up the OSD. did just test and extended info worked just fine for me.

one thing i did notice is that the codecinfo (o during playback) seems to be missing. can you add this to your to-do list?

Ah yes the ol' codec info.. Will do.
EDIT: Done. I was lazy so I just pulled the code from Eminence and quickly tweaked it slightly. I figure its a utility dialog so doesn't need anything fancy.

As someone who was bitterly disappointed when Arctic was discontinued, I'm really impressed with this. It would be nice to have an option similar to the infowall on Aeon Nox for the movies section. Also, I'd love to be able to hide the name on the views. For instance, using Advanced Launcher for game emulation, the covers are larger enough to not need the name underneath each item.

Anyway, looking awesome. Your hard work is much appreciated.

I was actually working on this right as you posted. Check latest git - theres an option from the side menu for "Extra Info" when in the "Icon" view (wall with poster).

More views will be coming for Programs and Music - the view you are talking about is Thumbs which is a skin-wide view so has to fit every possible scenario and will stay how it is. There will be a similar view to "Icon" for Music/Programs but square instead.

Which Icons are you talking about exactly? In the header? The only place I notice some pixelation is the Settings menu - but I'm likely to change that anyway.
Unfortunately, afaik, the skinning engine doesn't support svg.

But I have a problem
If I open a movie info, then go to cast and select an actor, and press right for extended info, my kodi freezes :/
The background fades a little darker and then a freeze.. Any way to sort this out?

I use a Amazon firetv with a kodi apk, latest version of your skin and latest version of the extendedinfo script
