I'm not using logos, clearart, extrafanart, discart or landscape art so I'm just not sure if there is any benefit to it.. All the supported artwork types can be downloaded through kodi's builtin get thumb option in the info dialog. Is there some advantage to using Artwork Downloader over the builtin downloader??

Season posters are very hard to set with the built-in. You have to scroll through jumbled lists of thumbs and then give up because you can't find them.

Does the built-in option even pull from fanart.tv? Or does it just pull from tmdb and tvdb?

If it doesn't, I'd say that's the biggest advantage.

I was just looking at it now and realized all I had to do was add a button -- it uses dialogselect so I don't need to skin anything per se... I was thinking I had to skin it because in Arctic.mkii I skinned a special gui dialog for it, but its completely unnecessary. I was thinking it was a way bigger job than what it was..

Added to latest git. If artwork downloader is installed, the "get thumb" button in the info dialog will use AD instead of the builtin.


EDIT: As far as I can tell, I cant get it to add season posters to the library... that still needs to be done through the context menu > choose art.

Im not sure what you mean? Wide view already shows a banner,, I dont understand how it would work for media info view

In Phil65´s Nox you can switch in the tri-panel-view between title as text or the banner from the movie. Then is on the left side the poster, in the middle the movielist as banner and on the right side a small window with the fanart an the plot. Like in your view, but you have only text for the title. I would make a picture from it, but i don´t know how i can upload a picture from my local hdd.

Can you please add the artist fanart to the Music OSD? I don't like to use the Artist Slideshow add-on or the visualisation, one solid background fanart is sufficient for me.

Looks like its hitting repo soon. U did an amazing job the last few weeks jurial. Submitting new code to the git on a daily base is simply amazing.
