Oh okay. I didn't know that. Why is banned, if I may ask? Should I assume that it won't be supported as it's banned?

are you sure you installed this plugin and not Rating Update http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=107331 ?
my add-on does not use php-cgi but Rating Update does.

That addon is great and I enabled the weekly update... and for some reasons the addon thinks weekly means each 30 minutes? ^^
