Hello, what weather addon i have to use for weather widget to work?. Nice skin, i just upgraded to helix 14.2 and first time using your skin. Is a keeper.

I finally got around to setting up custom widgets and WOW. Jurial you have really done something special here. I have been dying to have "my list" from netflix be on the home screen in widget form and in Arctic Zephyr its super easy to do! I also got my youtube subscriptions set up in widget form, which is awesome.

I'm surprised other skins don't do this more, being able to get content out of plugins into widgets is hugely useful for me so thanks!

Out of curiosity, how did you get YouTube subscriptions working in widget form?

This is awesome! I've ALWAYS used arctic ii and I was stupid excited when I saw this, as I hadn't anticipated it so soon. I've been following the previous thread to make adjustments and find fixes to the old version when things broke in new versions of Kodi!

When I saw it had been closed, I was like "darn...there goes any hope of support for continuing using this arctic ii version"

Then low and behold, ZEPHYR!

I Love the 3D options (the tag and video OSD option).

I setup a custom menu option that points to advanced launcher, labelled "Nintendo". In the previous skin, there was a predefined widget to show your most played ROMS for RCB. It looked really nice on the Home Screen seeing the pictures of games under the Nintendo title. To "kind of" achieve this now, I've added a few games to my favorites, and pointed the widget to that. I was just wondering if there are any plans to allow me to see "most played" ROMS selectable as a defined widget and be displayed like the movie and TV widgets?

Probably not going to support RCB unfortunately as it is quite a lot of work to skin (its a maybe eventually but unlikely anytime soon), plus the widgets for it use the old method which is a real pain to support.

Yeah its a pretty nifty feature. The possibility to do it has only been around since Gotham so I just don't think anyone really realised just how simple it actually was to implement. I had it in Eminence but you had to go through favourites and I had to use a special script. I didn't really want to do that for this skin because maintaining a separate script addon is a pain - then one day the idea for the side menu came to me - its such a simple and easy way to do it, I was surprised I hadn't thought of it before.

You need to set a weather fanart pack for the weather widget otherwise it wont work.
Weather fanart can be set at Skin Settings > Backgrounds > Set weather fanart

There is an option from the side view menu to "Set custom widget path" - this will set the current view to one of the custom widgets and then you go to the home customisation screen and choose the custom widget you set.

So basically you can open any video addon up to anywhere that you want to be a widget and open the side menu and set it. Its really good for streaming addons.

I finally got it I left the server the way it was and completly uninstalled/ re-installed kodi and all is working now thanks for the help cheers.

And by the way advanced launcher is getting support again!...just saying...

I'm not sure what you mean by "highlight first letter" -- the top left header should change to the letter being scrolled to when fast scrolling, is that what you are talking about?

first of all, your Zephyr Skin is really great, searched a long time for such a nice skin. So, i have a little feature request, and i did not get it to work by myself. I use a VPN via RasberryPi2 and use a VPNAddon from Brian Hornsby (http://brianhornsby.com/kodi_addons/openvpn). The addon works great, and my openVPN connects. But i did not know my ip adresse (if its the vpn or my own outgoing one). So is it possible, that you add an option, which show my external ip adresse in the right corner under the time/date/weather, like this:

Global Search is already skinned. You can search with it by selecting search from the side view menu. And of course you can add it to your home menu through the customisation dialog.

I don't think it is possible to get the external IP address without a specialised script...
Can get the local network address of your ethernet port / wifi and that's not going to be much help really I imagine.
Also you can get your current local IP address from Settings > System Info

Anyone know why this happend in background img ? sometimes the raspberry pi restart when i change de menu bar, i think is because of this.
