I have a problem with the VU+ PVR Addon. Some channels from my box show up in the Kodi GUI and work fine.But some show up in the GUI without icon and those channels do not work at all.

I've tried the "Reset" functions that exist at TV settings. No change in function.
Can all PVR configuration be manually deleted in any way? Then I can start fresh.


Anyone has any idea of what to do?

Sorry for the delay, I was away over Easter.

Pogo1975; this is Sweden, SVT1 HD fails, SVT2 HD works, TV3 HD fails, TV4 HD works, Kanal5 HD works TV6 fails. And so on.

h.udo Ticket created "#15906 new Bugs". Logs of failure and success included as well as screenshot from TV - Channels.

Enabling "zap before channelswitch" got all my channels working. Course this brings other headaches, yet all channels works.

Thanks, unfortunately that didn't change anything in my system. Well, except that the VU+ box change channel first of course. But the streaming issue is till the same.

Anyone knows where Kodi stores the links to the VU+ box? Or any tips how to troubleshoot?

By looking at the logs it looks like Kodi is not able to open the stream from your box.

Are you able to open this URL in VLC?

http://USERNAME:[email protected]:80...:0:0:0:0:0

Also, maybe enabling Debug-Logging may help...

I will double check tonight but I would say Yes.
I used Media Player Classic yesterday, that worked fine also from the channels where Kodi doesn't work.
If I download a "playlist" from the box that works fine in VLC.

Yes it works in VLC as well as in MPC using a url like this:

You can check content of your channel stream by VLC media player: Tools -> Codec information

Hello, nope that is not the problem. I says:

Stream 0
Type: Video
Original ID: 1034
Codec: H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (h264)
Resolution: 1280x720
Coded format: Planar 4:2:0 YUV

There is also a stream 1, Stream 2 and Stream 3. With two types of sound and Teletext (subtitles).
