Quick update, I did incorporate the clock change mentioned earlier The other two suggestions I didn't think fit the skin properly. There's also a new designed next up screen for those using my next up notifications addon when you have show spoilers enabled. Some other bug fixes are also included..the art downloader problem should be fixed.

Sorry I did not explain very well as it was a rushed post.

1. The clocks was a great suggestion, initially I added it on the right...but @badaas moved it to the left and did a few more tweaks and I prefer it over that side now. It was a bit crowded on the right when the logo shows.

2. The change for showing container name in the header...I tried it and did like certain parts (i.e. when browsing a tv show it will state the name of the show), but then I didn't like other bits like when on the root folder of Movies or TV Shows it says "titles" at the top..that part I feel is not as nice as how it is now.

3. The hiding of the header but showing only when media is paused...this one I feel is quite a personal preference. Most people will either want it shown or not shown (which is already an option) so did not want to add more complexity.

I haven't made the jump to the Mod version of this skin, but am considering.

I see that on some of the screenshots posted in this thread that Rotten Tomato scores are shown, but in some of the more recent screen shots, only the IMDB score are displayed. Is this an option to turn on/off, or are RT scores not displayed in place of IMDB scores?

I see, thanks for explanation. These down are just my thoughts:

1. Clock on the right feels more natural for me, so the logo could move down in the line of those horizontal buttons in the middle.

2. Are you sure to throw this out completelly?... I can take a look in why there is Titles, and to see what you see and try to find some sollution... or you have any suggestions?
What is the root folder in your case? Source, disk folder, smartplaylist?

3. There is no "now playing" on home screen at the moment, this is what I missed here, showing header I suggested in this case, because it felt more natural to me, when "now playing" is there.

Let me know about case number 2.

I do really like RT ratings, the screenshots that may have shown this was an older version of the info that connected directly to Emby for the data (Emby scrapes RT ratings, community rating and IMDb rating)

Now however it's using the native Kodi library and this info is not available and as far as I can see Kodi only allows one rating field to be stored in the database. So it's currently not possible I will keep thinking of a way though as I know Emby has the ratings!'

1. Can you post a screenshot of it as you describe, I know in your mock up there was no logo so I'd be interested to see if it does indeed not look over crowded.

2. I did try it out and those were the things I noticed straight away. When I browsed via the movie hub to my movies it said "titles" and not movies. The same for TV shows and music. As I said this to me is a step backwards, I do appreciate its better for users with custom nodes but that is not what the average user has. If you can come up with something that does not make this happen of course I'll re consider

3. Yeah I understand, often there are little tweaks I'd like to do for myself too but I try to keep this version as generic as possible

With clock on right it looks like it's falling on the logo imho. And also as it is taken from the other screen (can't remember which) it feels a bit like an error, like it's stuck on the screen from previous view. The idea is great, so thank you! Just gotta balance it all out some how..
It could be put with the media flags below the control buttons..?
Could be put after the duration (shrunk).
Or on end of control buttons as only 6 (maybe 7) max buttons so enough space..

In Settings / Appearance / Skin / Colors


Missing movie only show on brower / file manager mode. If you want to show in library mod, you need to rename correctly your file for moviedb find your movie.
