I added the option to include watched episodes and it could do with some testing before submitting to the repo. Can everyone who requested the feature try the latest from Github and report back. Things seemed fine in my tests but they are of course limited.

On a side note, there are some unused imports and variables in your code. If you want I can do a PR and remove some of these.

Another thing I'm not sure if it's something on my end, but shouldn't it start the next episode automatically at 0 seconds when I do nothing?
It doesn't seem to work for me on my rPi2 main kodi and my win 8.1 dev kodi :/

Yes it should auto play when you do nothing, unless you change the setting in the addon settings section.

Hrm, on my rPi2 the coundown also stops at 6 sec and then just waits for the video to end


btw. I would prefere a more minimalistic default view. the current one is like 60% of the screen, blocking me from seeing much of whats going on + subtitles

FYI:
You should add an option to slide the overlay to the top (or any other behaviour). One of my users reported issues with subtitles with my implementation

Yeah, it feels like 70% of the skins at this moment are not aware of subtitles when showing the nextup notification

It's not something I will be adding as it complicates things too much. Individual skins can of course add those settings for the custom windows or possibly people using subtitles can adjust the notification time if it's blocking useful information. The default will be much smaller though and located at the bottom right (and also defaulted to working on 1080i skins, rather than the 720p format it has now) so it should be more widely accepted.

look forward to the new view, when 1080i it should work for me, had to re-design the 720 completely so will wait to see your new version before trying to do something myself. Thanks,
