for some reason a black bar is covering 25% of the screen (top). Does annyone else have this problem?
I cant use video calebration to fix this sins the bar seam to be outside of xbmc.

settings->appearance->resolution and set it to your desktop resolution

I have this problem as well and my resolution is set to the same as my desktop. It isn't there when i start xbmc. It only appears when I play a video. Once it's there I can't seem to get rid of it unless I quit xbmc. I looked through the log but didn't see a problem.
