i want to know if this is a problem/bug of kodi 15 or is there a bug in mediaportal pvr addon?

tested with rc2 and i got the same failure. it seems this is a bug in kodi. option "use channel order from backend(s)" did not work. has any of the developers tested this?

I am having the same problem in 14.2 using serverwmc as the backend. One of my users said it didn't work, so I took a look, and I couldn't get it to work either, testing with the guide view.

with xbmc 14.2 + mediaportal backend all was fine. problem occours with kodi 15

I have it working fine here on self-compiled OE 6.0-devel (Kodi 15.0-RC1) using pvr.mythtv on an RPi:

• Use channel order from backends(s) = off
  
• Use channel numbers from backend = on
  

I have noticed in the past that a restart of kodi (I usually do a full restart of OE on the RPi) is required after enabling the 'Use channel numbers from backend' setting before the guide/channel list updates to use the backend channel numbers.
Just resetting the PVR database doesn't seem to be sufficient.

yes this works. but i had to enter manually a channel number for each channel in mediaportal tv server. its a kind of workaround. but with kodi 14 " use channel order from backends" work and with kodi 15 it doesnt.

I have the same problem since Kodi 15.
With Kodi 14 and Argus everything was fine with channel order.

I set the channel numbers now manualy in Argus and now the channel order in Kodi match.
In the EPG and channel overview.

But if i click on a channel (e.g. 5) the previous channel (e.g. 12) is starting !?
How can i delete or reset these mapping?
