Overall, I'm not that picky about this stuff. I would prefer that people are being creative and sharing their work -- ideas inspire other ideas and also inspire others to share stuff they have done too. That's the point of an open-source community imho. That being said - It is important that *everyone* acknowledges where stuff comes from, even if they have modified it.

Fully agree and if there were occasions I forgot to acknowledge changes from the base skin I do apologise. Unfortunately I have not seen any attempts of this mod following those basic morals. I hope this is now the end of the matter and that we all inspire each other but this constant copy/paste without a word of where it came from has to stop.

I see where your coming from, this guy has not created a view yet from scratch and does not know that sometimes a lot of work goes into these things. For example, it may have taken about 3-5 days backwards/forwards of development, then it magically appears here disguised as his own work. It's not right, it's not what developers should do to each other and ends up pissing people off. He really needs to stop being a prat about it.

Also give credit to the correct person, the view was designed by @badaas and this is what annoyed me the most. I'm used to people taking my work but when it starts happening to people who want to contribute i take exception to your claims that it was your own new view that was "inspired" by badaas view when your code shows the exact opposite.

I am not english native speaker and you already know me, I am clumsy putting words together, but I just want all good and I am sad when things go wrong between people.
Anyway, I also do understand your point of view.
You all (JM,IM, Guilouz and Badass) are very, very good and its a shame that you dont live in the same city... I am sure that you could do a lot more over a beer together.
I am also sure that you could clear those things up over PM.
I hope there is no hard feelings and wish you all great.

I never said that is my own work and never said this mod is my own work. I just add/modify to have a skin that I like and I just share it for everybody.

2. You take xp1080 first time with ++ then with xf, change some graphics --> didn´t you copy-paste the code?

And where are the credits for jurial in your emby-forum-posts? For example arctic-explode for emby.

Let's give you all a clear picture here of what happens in the real world:

1. Someone comes to this thread thinking its a port of jm's arctic zephyr.
2. They see the views and mods Guilouz added with no credit.
3. Same person goes to arctic zephyr AZE by im85288, they see the same views and mods and think oh, these are from guilloz mod as they are not in jm's, im85288 took these views and, OH! he didnt credit Guilouz, what a bum!

3. You and im came to guilouz´s mod, make pitty comments to him. He stopped his work, although he change info´s with credits for im85288. Im82588, does always the same copy&paste thing 3times and he said "Do me a favour and stop copying my code" ? Stop this really. He could learn from your work and you maybe in future from his work. Let him doing, but next time give him a simple advice per pm and thats good enough.

And your 1-2-3 points, does this really happend?
