Hi everyBody;
I am using vista sp1
my configration is like this
cpu = AMD athlon 6000
Ram = 3 gb
mother board= gigabyte GA MA78GM S2H with ATI redeon 3200 hd
tv out = HDMI resulation 1920x1080
tv = SONY kdl 52 w 3000
keyboard = BT dinovo mini.
Ps: I allready install the latest firmwares and drivers for ATI and mother board.

I use XBMC in HDTV resolution (1900x1080) and when I try play a video XBMC FREEZING in a 2 or 3 second.
it freez all kind of video x264 , divx and mkv
I try many times the latest version XBMC for Windows, rev 14676. but no result.
The XBMC menu was working fine . What can be the problem.
I need help :-( .Thanks for comitty.

Hi ,
I thing I find the problem. I am using optical cable to connect the htpc to receiver. Therefore I set the sound options in XBMC to " digital " . If I change the options to analog XBMC runs fine. I don't understand why I can't set as "digital " the sound options. Anyway It is not that much important if the system is running fine.

I am using logitec dinovo mini for remote control. as you know the controls dosen't manage XBMC . ex: play stop FF RR is it posible to use this buttons..

I have had the exact same problem. Only happens if I dont set windows to USE optical audio as default. Do this by right clicking on the Speaker icon next to the time in vista. Select playback devices and then set Digital to default. Vista does not have the option to output to both unfortunately. XBMC will work on optical if this is set.
