great job mate, works fine.
two things i noted are as follows...
first one isnt so important, the tray icon shows "exit remoteXBMC 1.6"
secondly, this one is more important i think... the remote responds VERY slowly on my pc. its a p4 3ghz. button press is registered in approx 2 secs after i press it.
ive tried my serial remote on same pc using winlirc, and runs much faster, so i guess the cpu should be able to handle it.

mode2006, awesome job! your previous version did not work with my generic xbox remote but this version definitely works. thank you so much for your efforts. btw, i do notice a tiny lag in response to keys being pressed but its something i can live with. thanks again!

With the function EVENTCLIENT responds slow change your port number,normally no problem with the function APICONTROL.
