It just use the thumbs of the database. And I'm not familiar with the FireTV.

ok really sorry to bother you, sounds like ive p*ssed you off so ill try to make this clearer.
I downloaded your bellisimo build and on the home screen you have movies, tv shows, youtube etc
the youtube,settings,addons,pictures etc all have static one image background
the movies tv shows and music all have fanart pan and zooming and changing every so often,
that is the look I want from my own personal build,
I started from scratch installing repos I wanted sources I want and wanted your skin as its the best ive seen
but for the life of me I cant get it to show me the fanart at all let alone with pan and zoom

so my question is, am I missing something here? do I need to manually add anything or have certain scripts or anything else.

The images are gathered by the grabfanart script. If there is an issue with that addon on FireTV, just use a playlist based wallpaper setting (create a new smart playlist with movies for example)
The pan and zoom thing is an extra setting in the skin settings.

not quite sure how to create a smart playlist but will google it thanks,
the images work on my pc so wouldn't have thought the grabfanart script would be having problems.
I will uninstall and reinstall though to make sure,

another quicky if you don't mind. I realised you used the multi image option on the backgrounds
and the images path is special://profile/addon_data/skin.bellofredo.extrapack/backgrounds
I used quick support and added my image folder to the root storage 0 pictures folder but I cant access it in the skin browser when
I go up the menus, the furthest I could get was special://profile/

anyway I can get past that and select the folder where my images are?

Hello, LOVE the skin and the vertical menu. I dont use much other than TV, movies and weather and it looks way better vertical than horizontal. I had a couple questions. The first is with the Youtube Widget. Is there a reason why it might refuse to let me opt to show "My Subscriptions"? I hit enter on that option but it doesnt stick. I can pick "Popular", "New Uploaded", and "My Channel" just fine. Its just the subs option that want take. Also, do you plan on adding, or is there a way to self port, other color themes such as those used in Bello Nero? Until now I used Bello Nero Blue as it suits my tastes better. Unless I'm missing something I dont see any color options in this skin and was hoping there was a way to change it. I wouldn't be opposed to photoshopping/hue shifting or swapping out skin resource files if you could point me in the right direction. Thanks!

Since I'm going to be a father in the next few weeks, I decided not to work on any other optional things to spent some time. But you can create themes and edit the colors xml files as you want.

Congrats! I've actually taken a liking to the per-category wallpaper look so color themes at this point is a non issue. As far as the Youtube thing I'm still stumped. I'm running Kodi 15.1 on Windows 10. I just did a total clean install of the OS and Kodi. Installed nothing but your skin (+ its plugins) and the youtube plugin and went through the login and double authorization. I can drill down the menus to view my subscriptions feed but I still cant get it to show on the widget view. If there's a log or something I can enable and submit let me know.

As shown, I am fully logged in and can look at my subs if I click into the category. But the widget settings let me choose anything except for My Subscriptions. Is there a way perhaps to define a custom widget that would list the subscription feed in the same manner and perhaps work around whatever is preventing me from using the built in widget? To clarify, I know custom widgets can be made I just don't know what to select when defining the shortcut.

There may also be a bug with Extra-Fanarts in Movies. Under default settings, as i scroll through movies it shows the corresponding fanart for that movie. If I enable "Use Extra-Fanarts" it no longer does this. Instead its just a random slideshow of fanarts for the movies I have and the movie and art do not match up, much like what it does at the Home screen when the Movies category is highlighted. If I then disable Extra-Fanarts the fanart background disappears entirely. The only way I can find to get it back is to reset the whole skin. Under TV Shows the art does appear to stay icolated to each TV show and change as I scroll, but it does disappear entirely when Extra-Fanarts is turned back off. I understand that you probably have alot on your plate. Just keeping you informed and making sure there isnt something I'm missing or if this is an intended function. So far the random art issue seems to occur in all views but the disappear after disabling part may only occur with "netflix" view.
