hi folks,
i found something weird:
when i play a movie with subtitles, if the subtitle line is too long, it is displayed with huge fonts (almost covering all the screen), whereas all the other subtitle lines are ok (before and after the incriminated line).
here is an example (it's a french subtitle, but whatever):
-------------------
3
00:00:06,247 --> 00:00:09,207
je sais que je ne suis pas censé le savoir, mais
je le sais et je suis si content pour vous.
-------------------
the text part is 93 bytes long. i checked and the subtitle font size is correct if i cut it to 85 bytes, like that :
-------------------
3
00:00:06,247 --> 00:00:09,207
je sais que je ne suis pas censé le savoir, mais
je le sais et je suis si content po
-------------------
if there is just one more byte, then the line is written in huge letters... by the way, this is a .txt sub file, but i also saw that on screen with .srt
as i don't know how xbmc handle subs, maybe i should count the size from the first line, not only thet text part...dunno.
i just would like to add that xbmc is really really great !!
thanks guys !
p.s.: it is more of a feature suggestion, but it would be great to add the capability to change the subs font size, because it is now a little too small (when correctly displayed) for my taste.
