@braz - looking good ! ...not sure if you are taking requests on your mod here mate, conscious this is likely a more personal quest for you than developing mimic.

so please dismiss, should it not be in your interest...

I've been having a play with im85288 'Emby repo' mod version (‘exploded' now discontinued/relinquished)... just wanted to highlight 2 progressions I had spotted, wondered if you could adopt.

1.) When using the 'Classic Home Menu Style' the widget posters progress to the right allowing more than 10 posters to be viewed.

2.) The quantity of custom widgets has increased from 4 to 10

was also interested to know if you could increase the delay (amount of seconds) before the 'Show plot overlay after 3 seconds’ kicks in, I find this a little to quick when browsing 5 secs would be great.

Hey Stueeey, yeah this mod is only going to contain the things I use, so some requests won't get implemented. You're always welcome to try though.

1) Will take a look, but I'm ok with just the 10 items so not sure I will make a change.

2) Custom widgets won't be needed at all soon because the next version of skinshortcuts will handle that.

3) I'm ok with the 3 second delay, in Mimic the widget title displayed after an even shorter delay.

I love what you have done with Arctic Zephyr, thank you! A couple of things for your consideration:

1. Would you add a weather widget? Right now I can only select weather fanart as a widget, but I would love to have the weather for the upcoming days as a widget, like Arctic Zephyr Exploded had.

2. I would like to be able to add program add-ons as a widget, but have not found a way to do this in your mod.

3. Would you consider adding colored flags and icons (codec, resolution, etc.)?

4. Could you please add subtitle language flags in the video info dialog?

5. Could you please add the movie year in the info that shows in Big Icons view for movies?

2) This is the same as the original Arctic Zephyr, you have to use the custom widgets. This will become much easier with the next version of skinshortcuts though.

3) No chance, I don't care for the colored icons.

4) Yes, I've been meaning to do this. IIRC, the code might even already be in there.

5) Done, update pushed to github.

ahh ok... so with every media view (regardless of view type - List, Icons etc) there is a menu option to 'show info overlay' when this is turned on & browsing through your media if you pause for 3 seconds the screen darkens and the plot is displayed really nice and large taking up the whole screen. I love this feature it is great for sofa viewing, however I find the 3 seconds is a little to quick... all I was suggesting is that the 3 seconds could be lengthened to 4 or 5.

Note: the 'show info overlay' can also be enabled via >Skin Settings >Furniture > Show plot overlay after 3 second delay (last item in the list)

Sorry for the confusion, hopefully we are both on the same page now lol - like I say its a loverly feature just wish it wasn't so quick

Ok stueeey, I changed it to 5 seconds. This isn't a feature I will use though, I find it too intrusive. Prefer to press up from video info if I want to see fullscreen plot. So I don't plan to make any further adjustments to the delay.

Update: Forgot to mention, I removed the button to turn on/off overlay info from the view menu since I won't use it. Option is still available in skin settings.

arhh great thanks.... ok & understood too, I on the other hand never enter video info, always play direct from browsing. guess we all use kodi differently
