I wonder if someone (maybe @joethefox) can comment on what JSON command is used in the Kodi Remote app to call the watched status for each movie in the list? Is it the 'watchedepisodes' property of List.Item.Base? Is the query the same for TV shows?

The "playcount" property is used. If larger than 0 then it is watched.
