after change to false EVENTCLIENT starts first but Remotecontrol doesent work
i did change setting back, but now only APIControl works a little bug i think so.

on APIControl i miss to turn down the sond
louder sound i found on 0

Sorry it was an noob error, i did disable my WLAN

but now my question is it possible to setup APICONTROL same as EVENTCLIENT
settings for remotecontrol keys

Just so i get this proggy right:
This is a program that enables you to use the original xbox remote control
with the atlantis rel in windows xp ?

Here is what i done:
Modded the original xbox dongle and plug it into my pc's usb port. windows finds to unknown usb units.

I can see that in the xbmxremote ini file it is setup with a PID and VID like this:
VendorID=&H45E
ProductID=&H284

If i check my device manager for my to unknown devices it shows the following for both of them:
USB\VID_045&PID_0284&MI_01\6&D47D498&0&001

I tried editing the ini file to this:
VendorID=045E
ProductID=0284

i also tried this:
VendorID=&045E
ProductID=&0284

Nothing seems to work no matter what i try. Also there i no log files in the remote folder to check out

If someone could push me in the right direction with this i would be very happy !

did you try the driver from remotecontrol 2.0 folder ?

LOL - didnt know that there was included a driver. installed that driver
and everything works out of the box !! thanks man

RemoteXBMC 2.0 work with all version XBMC ATLANTIS or SVN
u have one original remote control microsoft, already configured in the file remotexbmc.ini.
1/install the driver included to the setup file
2/ remove the caracter # front
VendorID=&H45E
ProductID=&H284
3/insert the keymap.xml include with the setup remotexbmc to the folder system of xbmc

yes exclusive thats button 3 and button 6 for volum up and down. it's always been that

Replace the original keymap.xml by the file xml includ with remotexbmc setup and put it in xbmc system and userdata , for AUTO.CONTROL change the key in the keymap

There seems to be a little bug. keyreapeting doesnt work ?
if i say hold the volum up button on the remote it adjust once then stops.
it should go uppwards as long as i hold the button pressed down.
As far as i can see this seem to be the case with all my buttons.

is this known or have i adjusted something wrong ?

I corrected the problem tomorrow
