I have the option selected for the dark theme and it works on the OSD only. The home screen and everywhere else is still light. I am using openelec with kodi isengard. Any help would be appreciated because I love this skin and I think I would like the dark one even more.

dork313 is referring to the OSD skin setting to use a darker theme, rather than the theme settings in Appearance. You would need to change the background color and maybe others in the color theme xml to get the rest of the skin to match the dark OSD.
