I thought I had searched and read the posts, but I guess I don't understand..........HELP!
I am running Jarvis and MQ 6 3.0 I have animated gif files and I have, in customize skin setting, chosen them as backgrounds for several screens: for instance on the home page I have animated rain on"Weather" and on "Movies" I have an animated fanart scene from The Day the earth stood still......They work great!!

But, I select movies and I go into my movies which is set to "Wall View" and in my "Pulp Fiction" folder I have a poster.gif which is an animated poster from the movie but I do see see any movement.

What am I missing (doing wrong)?

@melons2, try use small gif animated image, kodi limit via ram memory numbers frames. Probably it´s the trouble.

Did you add this to your advancedsettings.xml?

<add>.gif</add>
</videoextensions>

You may also need to MANUALLY select your poster.gif for each title especially if you're replacing an existing poster.jpg.

@brazen1, it´s not necessary use advancedsettings, it´s native resource (Kodi Jarvis only), and yes need set path for animated art manually.

This is probably the problem, I searched around for an answer before asking........could you elaborate? How do I MANUALLY select the poster.gif for each title?

Movie78 you need to edit the Terminator poster, it does not run on Kodi.

Also I prefer the posters with the fewer information as possible

@melons2, movie, press i (video info), find Get Thumb item (enter), select poster, select browse, find specific animated, select, done.
