I haven't had a chance to pull your sources down and give this a look, but it appears promising. May I ask, what are you using as the base of your source? Is this pulled from their video addon? If that's the case, it would be great to see this extended into a full and proper PVR addon.
To the poster that asked about SD's DVR Kickstarter: SD is creating their DVR backend, and using their existing Kodi video addon to work as the PVR client. They have not expressed any interest in re-releasing their video addon as a proper PVR addon, which is unfortunate, because HDHomeRun addon interface is pretty terrible. In addition, they also have shown no interest making their guide available as a traditional EPG, but rather is sticking with the same guide interface they are currently using, or asking users to rely upon searching for finding shows to record.
Personally, I would love to see SD's DVR backend succeed, and to see a real Kodi PVR addon be developed to utilize their backend. However, until that occurs, it looks like we'll have to make do on our own, and use a subpar solution in the interim. (My situation involves 2 HDHomeRun Primes controlled through MythTV 0.27.5, but this is far from the best solution. TVHeadend cannot deal with the Primes properly, and DVBLink required workarounds, and has no conflict resolution/priorities.)
I am following this project with interest, and am looking forward to giving it a try, and hopefully helping it along.

I will add a setting to hide protected channels. This should be very simple to do anyway.

This is very cool! I knew someone would start something like this sooner rather than later!
I have a 2 tuner setup (1 CONNECT and 1 EXTEND) and the PVR addon sees both of them fine - only thing is that the channels are read from each tuner and added to the guide.
For example - I have the same 7 channels active on both tuners - but they all show up in the guide twice so 14 in total (duplicate channels for each tuner).
Also - for some reason my guide in this case is blank - it will show what is currently on in the Channels menu but the Guide shows nothing.
Let me know if you want to see a log. Thanks!
edit - sorry - this is using the linux addon with OpenELEC 6.0

Mr. zcsizmadia, hope you don't mind, I am so excited about what you have accomplished, I made a YouTube video and will post a link here and on the SiliconDust forum.
Thank you for this addon.
BTW, I tried to install in on Kodi 16, the other day and it was not compatible.
