Quote:Yeah I've noticed this before, but only very occasionally. Have you noticed any pattern to it? Also can you please test with latest git revision (2.0.6) as I think I may have fixed it but I'm not 100% as I'm not entirely sure how to reproduce it.

I haven't found any pattern to it. I'll test with the git version and report back in a couple of days if the problem is still there.

Hi, Just started using this skin, but I've got a problem with background images. If I choose single image, it will navigate to a folder on my C: drive, but I can't navigate anywhere else. I've noticed there's no codec image icon for h265 either, it just shows Huh (not a big deal, as my PC doesn't quite handle those filed anyway)

edit: Don't worry about the above, I've managed to get a workaround so I can display random fanart on the menu

When Adding a Timer via the EPG I get a broken menu and ca't record.

Live TV -> Guide -> Context Menu on a TV show -> "Add Timer"

I get a dialog for "Record <The TV show you just selected>? [YES] [NO]"

If I hit yes, I get a popup with two booleans (with no labels), and three spinners saying :
?0?
Again, no labels.

I can't record from the EPG Sad

This menu works in Confluence.

Edit:-

From 15.1/15.2 Release notes:
Quote:Skins: As of this moment, all skins that worked in 14.x Helix should still work in 15 Isengard. In the PVR sections there are certain changes that might be noticeable and need specific skin changes. These changes are minimal and shouldn’t cause any major problems in usability. There still might be some options still missing which you relied upon first. We’re sure that most skin creators will be updating the skins in due time. Before that happens you should be able to enjoy this beta build without any problems.

Could this get looked at? Its a feature I really need working on a skin to use it.

Looks like its probably related to this:

I'll give this a try when I get home.

Triple-post - but only to keep it logical.

The above link does fix the menu, it seems nextPVR need an additional menu not included in this skin.

That said, the theming doesn't match up - it works, but highlighted text is very hard to see as it matches the light background. I'll try and resolve this myself (although my knowledge of skins is small) and post up any fixes (may even pull request them).

The problem is that NextPVR and WMCPVR use one of the same dialog names, but the controls are different afaik. I don't use either so I can never test, but I skin it for WMCPVR because I've done that in the past and I know it works for that.

Absolutely love this skin, very well done mate. Unfortunately I've just stumbled across an annoying little bug...

Due to the beautiful clean and simple to use interface I set my parents box up on this skin and to lessen the amount of tech help calls I get from them I put it in Kiosk mode. Yes believe it or not they really are that bad with technology and if they accidentally bring up the sidebar menu in kodi I get a panicked phone call wondering what to do next so they don't break it lol. Anyway Kiosk mode has been great but they wanted to install an add-on and couldn't work out how to do it, in the end I had to go around there as they were adamant there were no options to install. True enough to my surprise all the buttons on the add-on install menu had vanished, took a while to work it out but it would appear if you're in kiosk mode it's impossible to install any addons.

Here's a screenshot to better describe the issue:

Keep up the great work Smile

Thats intentional. Kiosk mode is designed to prevent people changing settings or adding and removing addons...

Ah ok thanks for the update, never use kiosk mode myself so didn't realise that it was supposed to lock out the add-on installation too. Makes sense I suppose for any young-uns. If I could make a request... Would be nice if it was possible to add a full lock (like it is now) and a partial lock mode where add-ons can be installed. If that was possible I'd be able to use it at home too in kiosk mode because I must say I do rather like the kiosk mode for the main kodi install - makes it much easier for guests (and the wife) to use Smile.

Hi,

I really love this skin.
I've found a little annoying bug. The duration of the film (retrieved from tmdb, etc.) is not correctly shown: Only the number of hours is shown (with the label "min" after).

For example, for a film whose duration is 2h35min, It is shown "2min". Same for 1h56min => "1min".

Can you help me?

Thanks

Please note that this problem only appears on this skin (for example it works perfectly on eminence 2.0, confluence...)

Playing a series episode, I get the "Extended Info - Provided by themoviedb.org" screen (pressing "I" gets me the same screen) = perfect.
Browsing through my movie library, I can't get the same information screen and selecting a movie skips the Information screen.

There are a lot of translation errors in Dutch as well, would love to help out, how can I?
Works fine for me. Might be a problem with you keymap.

Translations are done through transifex. Sign up for an account and then you can contribute translations at:

Hey jurialmunkey,

You were right about the "extended info", the problem was related to kodi at the time. I was using a mysql database and resolved this by using local libraries instead.

Secondly, I did update nearly all Dutch translations in Transifex 4 months ago but I still get the old translations while using the skin. Are there any other steps I should undertake so that they get integrated?

Hi Jurial,

I remarked that the skin.helper script always wakes up my home server to load a (non-existing) TV show episode banner... I asked the script dev about it and got the advice to complain at the skinner, please see this post.

Is there anything you can do about it?

Cheers,
