Mod skin.arctic.zephyr.braz (updated for Krypton)
(2015-11-10, 10:22)Crssi Wrote: Hi jurialmonkey... do you have any ETA?

Depends. A few things to fix up in Eminence and then I'm getting transifex and repo stuff sorted. Initial submission to official repo always throws up a bunch of overlooked things that need fixing, plus I'm submitting two versions (Isengard + Jarvis) so that can only add to the workload. But once that is all up and running I'll be looking back at A:Z. First order of business will be getting Jarvis compatibility up and then I will look at adding some of these great features.
Arctic Fuse 2 - Alpha now available. Support me on Ko-fi.

Nice mod!

Just tried it on Jarvis, and was wondering if there was a way to get a widget to show episode thumbnails instead of fanart when "landscape" is selected. Particularly for a "recently added episodes" TV widget, I feel thumbnails are a lot more useful

Just changed it to show thumbs for landscape episode widgets.

Hey very nice skin mod Smile great work.

Is it possible to get fanart-background in main menu. I'm only get a static image.

I don't find a option for it and is it possible to change the transparency of main menu?

Thank you!! Smile

Use the menu customizer to set background images. Skin settings > Home > Customize home menu

Haven't tried it, but you could lower the opacity of the background color using the color customizer. Skin settings > Extras > Select background color. Just change the first 2 values from FF to AA and see if you notice a difference. This will change more than just the menu though, it will change the opacity of all of the background overlays.

As an alternative you could also remove the floor.png control from HomeRow in Includes_Home.xml. Just remember that if you edit the skin files you will have to redo the change each time you update the skin.

Thank you for your answer, i will try it.

Messing with some of the views. Removed the LowList view option, felt like it didn't show that much more fanart since the fanart has an overlay. Expanded the plot size when enabled for List view, and added thumbs for episodes as shown below...

Love the new list view!!

Is there any way to not show the plot at the TV show and season level but show for the episode level? Right now it's all or none....is that just the way it is?

Keep up the great work!!

Thanks! Yeah, that's going to be the way it is I'm afraid. I did change the code to prevent the plot from showing for files, sets, etc though.

Thanks for making the change!

But I just updated, and it still shows landscape fanart

Try setting up the widget again.

I did, and it still shows fanart. This is on a Jarvis build from a couple of days ago, and with the latest versions of the two addons linked in the original post.

Another slightly unrelated bug, if I move onto the next/previous menu item (Movies, in this case, which does not have a widget set up), the widget changes from landscape to poster for a fraction of a second before disappearing

Hmm, no idea, it's working here.

As far as I can tell, the flashing of the icons when switching from poster to landscape, etc, has been there ever since I added the icon aspect ratio options. I believe the best way to fix that is to use the template feature in skin.shortcuts, but I haven't been able to figure out how that all works. It hasn't been an issue for me since I only show the widgets when pressing up.
