i like this solution!

Hi to all,

I´m new in this forum and i could like to say that this skin is awsome.

I also use the PVR of Kodi with IPTV and EPG. So my question is, if it would be possible to choose more views for PVR. Could it be possible to integrate this view

@Giu

No plans to add more pvr views, this is something you would have to work on.

Why would the "featured" home screen be removed? You already have Mimic, it seems like it would be easier to add the things you like about A:Z into it rather than strip A:Z down to be a copy of Mimic.

Removed it to simplify the code, and there's an alternative home layout I'm thinking of adding. I didn't use the featured layout. As I've said from the beginning, this is just my personal mod so it may not satisfy most users. I recommend using the original skin if you want all of the options, Jurial Munkey has already started updating it for Jarvis.

Is this something that can just be downloaded and installed as any other skin? Or do you have to download the existing AZ skin, and do some sort of modding? Apologies I'm very much a noobie

This mod has a unique id so it can be installed along side the original Arctic Zephyr skin. Just download the zip file from github and install from zip in Kodi. Make sure the dependencies in addon.xml are also installed.

Could you possibly just link me to that download please, and just briefly explain the 2nd bit re the dependencies and how I go about that.

Apologies for the questions, I'm a complete noob as I said

I'm thinking that if you install from zip that it will install all dependencies, but not sure. You'll have to try it and see.

If you already have Arctic Zephyr installed from the repo, the main dependencies will already be installed.

Fair enough.

Look forward to the alternative home layout.

Not sure if I'm going to do the alternative home layout now. Was thinking about making an alternative vertical layout that is similar to the Fuse WIP skin, but decided against it.

Added a scripts section to skin settings. This should be a helpful debug tool for those that install this mod manually and may not have all of the required scripts installed. If the script is already installed, clicking on it will open its settings. If it isn't installed, clicking will prompt you to install it. Not sure if this method works for the resource addons, haven't tested that yet.

Great idea braz (especially in the light of the thread about skin dependencies).

I'll add something similar to Rapier Smile

EDIT: I can confirm it also works for resource add-ons.

ANOTHER EDIT: Did you find a workaround for disabled add-ons?
