Can you please tell me how I can change the time for the random background artwork? It changes too quick imo. Thanks and keep up the good work!

If I remember correctly, open up the Defaults.xml and change the timeperimage value for multiimage controls. For example, change the value from 7000 to 15000.

Just found out that it does only have an effect if I select the "multi image option" and select a folder but has no effect on the "random movie background" option.
If someone wants to do this:
The Fanart thing is set via the script.grab.fanart. Inside kodi/addons/script.grab.fanart/resources/ edit the "Settings.xml" file. There is a default="10" option which means 10 seconds. Change it to whatever you want.

Is there a way to hide some addons in my widgets, or to create a custom list of addons to use? I have about 20 video addons installed, but I would like it if I could only have about half of them show up in my widgets.

Edit - I do see there is a "custom widgets" option, but I can't figure out if it can do what I want.

I am still a rookie and had yesterday an update to the final 15.2 (openelec/RP2) and I was looking for a new skin in the repo and I finaly found this nice skin and I wanted to use multiple backround Pictures for all my sections like Movies, Pictures ect. The problem is that when I try to use the option for more than only one backround I can´t see the backrounds in my folder to choose all the backrounds I want to have. If I use the option for only one backround I can see all of my pictures. Is there something I still have to download like another addon?

With the multi image option you are picking a folder rather than an image so it's normal that you don't see the photos. Just browse to the folder of images you want to use and click OK.

I feel the same thing that it changes to quick and I tried to follow this guide but I can´t see this default.xml ether the script.grab.fanart. Is this because you guys maybe talking about a PC Version or can you guys give me an advise for the openelec RPI 2 version?

EDIT: I still have to understand a little bit more the way all this things with addons und settings work but I found the script grab fanart and tried to set the time but the changes doesnt´t effect the time for backround Pictures folder for my catagories so I think this only works for the setup with fanart work. So I still need to find this Default.xml so I hope someone can tell me where to find it please?

EDIT for the last time: It was a hard birth but finaly didi it. My problem was that my Windows PC can´t handle linux partitions and on my sd card with openelec installed I only saw the typical folders withe userdata ect. and after I found an articel in the openelec forum with a similar problem I´ve downloaded a little tool "Paragon ExtFS for Windows" and after that it shows all the partitons. Finaly I saw the folder with the default.xml and changed the time from 7000 to 20000 and now it changes every 20 seconds.

just a small question please, can you tell me how to set item background for "Favorites"? I see my backgrounds for "Movies, TV Shows, System, Weather .....etc". But for "Favorites" I only see it in the home view, but when I open it, it's still your black background. Thanks in advance.

When I go to sleep I always put a movie on with a sleeptimer for 30-60 minutes and I tought I find the next night the movie from yesterday in the submenu under "in progress" so I don´t need to look for him again in my hole library but it isn´t so. So how can I change this things? Another question is I want to know if there is an option for the submenu to have a catagory for the last 10 watched movies too?

The first issue isn't really a skin issue, the skin displays whatever the script provides. For the second question, can you create a playlist of recently watched movies and add it to your submenu?
