Home widgets I can control (i.e. scroll) with touch but not with mouse. Once activated, it shows left and right arrows suggesting I can click and scroll it but it doesn't work with mouse. It work with touch (swiping but also not pressing those buttons; See
example) and maybe it also works with remote and keyboard....
It's bad UX-design.

using the scrollwheel of your mouse should work there (does for me).

I see.
I work with combination mouse, touch and keyboard on my laptop. Activating those widgets, shows the left and right arrows (see screenshot). But they don't work with touchscreen.
