When I want to search for something on KODI (isengard), a keyboard pops up on my TV.
At the same time a keyboard should pop up on the KODI remote app, on my iPhone.

It doesn't though, so I want to configure the KODI Remote app, so that it automatically pops up the keyboard.

How can I do this?

You have to enable the option "Allow remote control by programs on other systems" under Kodi settings > services (at least settings level "standard"):

then disconnect and reconnect the remote app. From now the app should be able to listen to kodi's notification and then automatically pop-ups the on screen keyboard. Let me know.

yes, works as described.

there are only problems with the addons vimeo and youtube...
