Hi there!
Since years I am using Linux DVB-Receivers to record movies. All those are stored on a NAS (SMB-Share and UPNP). With every movie there come three files:
* the movie itself (*.mp4 or *.TS or other)
* a thumbnail jpeg (*.jpg) generated automatically using an ffmpeg-based script
* an EIT-file containing the EPG-Information
My KODI (15.2) is configured to access the movies via UPNP (an twonky media server running on the NAS).
KODI honors the _movie_ and the _thumbnail_ (which is great), but does not use the _EIT-File_ to display video information.
My Feature request (or help-request):
* how could it be accomplished, that the EPG-Information stored in the EIT-files is honored by KODI so that the Information ist showed when displaying the video information in KODI (similar as the movie-lists of the Linux-DVB-boxes are doing that).
Thanks a lot!
