I really like the way that XMC beta 1 is going, much more stable and polished
Just a few major problems which prevent me from using it though..
I use a simple logitech 5.1 sound set with a external 5.1 soundcard on my laptop.

First problem:
2.0 works great on Divx, but my 5.1 MP4 HD files just sound like stereo, in vmc and mediaportal they work fine though. Checked the settings and it says "unrecognized stereosound" (or something), and the output to all speakers is on, still only output on 2 instead of 5...

Second problem:
The MKV HD files doesn't have sound at all.
I did try the Digital/Analog mode, and all other possible options, but nothing seems to work..
