Both are in sync you can choose which kind of installation you prefer. I would prefer the 3rd party repository because you get the updates directly in kodi without any further checks by yourself and download/extract/move tasks


BTW we are working on upload the skin to the official kodi repository.

There seems to be a bug where if too many items are disabled on the home screen then the proper window on the home screen loses focus and it is impossible to navigate. I had just movies, TV shows, and weather enabled and it produced this problem. Once I re-enabled music the problem went away.

which home screen do you use, classic or default?

thx, i have used the master zip from first post (5.0.400), does this version gets updated when xperience1080 is in the official repository?

I have an issue with my multi profile setup.
I can reproduce the issue as follows:

• two profiles (every user has a different emby user connected)
  
• kids user is logged on automatically on startup
  
• when ill logoff at the bottom left menu after autologon, kodi stucks
  
• bottom left power button disappears and it just hangs
  
• with confluence the issue doesnt appear -> tested five times
  
• with xperience1080 the issue pops up on first logoff
  

had not time to get a debug log, will do that today and upload it here.

Anyone of you using xperience1080 v5.0.400 + jarvis in multi profile setup?

Here are the kodi log & a screenshot from the issue when kodi stucks/hangs.
I have enabled debug log before reproducing the issue.
After the issue kodi was killed with task manager and kodi.log was taken.

Classic. I've found another bug that occurs when resuming a show from the home screen. I hit resume, the show starts, then the resume dialogue appears a second time on top of the playing video. I'll post a screen when I get a chance.

That's not an issue, it's a request. I've already said that I'm not doing it as I don't believe it fits in with the aesthetics. It's up to xhaggi.

This skin is still in beta. There have been a lot of changes and testing is taking a long time.

You will see this skin in the official repository within the next week or so.

Should be fixed in the latest version. Please give it a try (download from github and copy over to your addon dir)

While I'm working on the home screen I noticed that it would make more sense if we move the TV category to the right after the home category.

Before I do all the necessary changes I want to know what's your opinion?

@xhaggi & Piers: Had you time to look at the logs?
Want to comeback to xperience1080 skin.
Currently i am on mimic 3.x (for jarvis) and like with confluence the issue isnt there.

@popy I've done some tests with different profiles and kodi didn't crash.

There is a new version available which includes the TV category re-order stuff and different other fixes. The unstable repository is updated to this new version.
