Solved Lodi remote
#1
Just updated kodi remote without realising it would mean I could no longer use it on my old windows xp base using frodo xbmc.

Is it possible to make the remote version 1.5.3 available on the apps site listed as xbmc remote for those of us who are happy with what we have or cannot afford to upgrade?

the remote app is kodi OS independent. It should work with frodo, what's the issue?

Yep, Eden (10) was before Frodo (11). Let's try to isolate the issue. Try to connect via the ipad safari browser to the kodi web server:

Code:
http://<kodi_ip_address>:<kodi_port>

for example:

Code:
http://192.168.1.100:8080

can you connect to kodi web interface?

Version of Ios on Ipod-Touch is 6.1.6 (10B500)

iOS 6. Ok, thanks for the report! I'll fix it asap. The issue is that now I have to find a physical iOS 6.1.6 device, latest xcode doesn't support iOS6 anymore Sad

P.S.: about Lodi:

Joethefox, sorry, should never have queried your work. Yes my error, installation of upgrade had just altered settings, all connected and looking very good.

PeppeBig Grin, the Apple Autumn spelling is great, but sometimes not so much when your not watching, but hey, Lodi looks a nice place, who'd have known.
