I've also switched profiles and couldn't reproduce the crash you described. I also can't see a reason why a crash would occur - there are minimal changes for profiles.

Anything i can do to identify the issue?
I have tried to analyse the logs i have provided but did not see anything regarding the stucked kodi or any exception/error.
Can you please take a look at it (or you have done it already)?

Kodi is in the following state when the issue occurs:

• Navigate to "power" button at the bottom and press it -> background gets dimmed down and white menu pops up
  
• Press "Username Logoff" it takes some time ~5 seconds -> menu and power button disapears and dimmed background fades back to normal (see my screenshot) -> ill think thats the time when logon screen should appears like on other skins
  
• Now kodi stucks -> is unresponsive -> you cant select anything else on screen with remote, keyboard or yatse. When you click sometimes on kodi (with mouse) the windows message pops up which stated that Kodi must be shut down.
  

Maybe its worth a try to disable the fade animations for background when menu is selected!?
Can you please point me in the right direction, so i can try this.

Does it help to open an teamviewer on my HTPC to narrow the issue down?

That sounds more like a crash not related to the skin. Can you provide a fresh log please?

Sometimes the white popup menu disappears, background fades back to normal and then power button is missing an kodi stucks.
And sometimes it hangs linke in the video.

Yesterdays version from your repo and flat theme.. Focus issue means the white highlight and the increased text size are not on the same item in the title bar.
Enabled sections: Search, Home, TV, Movies, TV Shows, Apps, Settings

I'll try to find a way how you can reproduce it once i get home on sunday.

And btw, I also liked the old layout better since Home divides Local and live content that way

Did you somehow break the flat theme by accident in the latest update? My skin is totally f***ed after the latest update. I had to switch it back to the default theme by editing the guisettings.xml file.
It seems like all the assets aren't there anymore. Missing graphics all over the place

Kodi v16.0 stable and skinversion 5.0.400.

Also the theme option is grayed out. So I can't even select the flat theme anymore.

Only the unstable repository contains packed textures. The link in the first description is for the testing version - one that should only be used by experienced users.

I would like to create Android app shortcut. But when I create a custom object, I can't choose android app, just Kodi app.

It's an issue of this version or this feature is not implemented on your skin?
