Hi guys,
I run the plugin on my rpi 2 with kodi 15.2.
But when i open a photo it takes about 20 seconds to open the photo. Maybe you can fix this problem.
Thanks!

PicasaWeb 1.0.17 works a treat!
Thank you very much!
Out of interest, why has the PicasaWeb available through the other repositories become so far behind in version number?
Your work on this addon is very much appreciated.

Enable 'Use With Authorization' in the add-on settings. When you go into the addon, it will ask you for a name (this can be whatever you want) and then ask you to authorize, give you code and direct you to a google URL. Open this URL in a browser and log in (if not already logged in). You will get to a screen where you can enter the code. Once you do this, it will take a few seconds and the addon will be authorized and you can view the photos on your account.

So I do not see this setting anymore in the addon configuration. It just has login...which my login is correct by when i click on albums nothing happens?
I am using 1.0.2
Disregard....i am a dummy. 1.0.17 is higher than 1.0.2....I didn't do math very well tonight! LOL

Hi everyone!
I just installed Kodi on my Rasp Pi 2 and nearly everything works fine. Sadly, when I visit the official kodi addons the picasaweb addon is only in version 1.0.2 and won't install.
I installed your repo directly but nothing is in there, so I can't install from that either ;(
Can anyone give me a hint to WHERE get the addon? The repo here isn't working neither is the official working.
Thanks a lot!
EDIT: Found a zip version online, tried to install that and got "Installation failed, dependencies error" or something like that.
Any idea? Running Kodi 15.2

Google is closing Picasa Web on May 1st. I suppose that means this addon will be defunct as well?

OMG, thought I'd just check this addon one more time. Updated it and bam, works like a charm!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Now maybe you should consider changing the name to Google Photos Reader or something like that to match the Google app name? Great job, Rick and I hope it stays updated!!

Hi ruuk, thanks for your work! Your plugin rocks!
I would like to use my google photos as a source for a Kodi slideshow.
If i click slideshow on the folder that contains all my images, it rotates only in the first 100 photos because at the end of the list there is a link for the next 100s. So what do you suggest in order to use more than 3000 photos as a source for a slideshow?
Thanks

It spends too much time on start of recursive slideshow. Is it avoidable?
