Anyone knows why these black bars on the center of the screen appear and how I can fix this?

This is something to do with the gradient texture used in the black theme. It looks terrible on my TV so I have to use the white them.

Maybe jurialmunkey can fix this

Yep, it really messes up the experience. I tried using the white theme, but it burns my eyes in the dark

Waiting for the day this gets fixed to go back to this skin...

Hey Jurial, I'm wanting to change my main menu items font and have seen how to change AeonNoxSilvo (ANS) but of course the defined names are different in AZ. What is the font name that defines the main menu and submenu fonts? The options look to be "Large Bold" - "Large" - "Lyrics" - "Episode Number" - "Medium" - "Medium Bold" - "Small" - "Small Bold" - "Tiny" - "Tiny Bold" - "Mini" - "Button" - "Flag" - "EPGTimeline" - "Home" - "HomeIcon" - "WidgetSelector" - "font13" - "Clock"

So if I download a new font file (for example "NewFont.ttf") and save it in the skins FONT folder (...addons/skin.arctic.zephyr-master/fonts), will I be able to change the font for that corresponding name defined (in my case the main menu and/or submenu) in the ...addons/skin.arctic.zephyr-master/1080i/Font.xml to my "NewFont.ttf"?

I see there is Fallback Arial - Default - Large as the 3 different fontset id's and I currently use the Large from the Appearance settings. So would it be ok to change the name defined font (whichever is for main menu / submenu) in the LARGE fontset id ?

So let's say "Home" font definition is for main menu and submenu (I understand they may be different), could I change it to (as long as I have downloaded the NewFont.ttf and placed it in the Font folder of the skin):

After updating to the latest OSMC update (1st of april), the Skin doesn't work anymore. In 16.0 jarvis it worked, and now I think they updated it to 16.1 RC 2 or 3? But the system won't start up with this skin enabled. Is it a fault of OSMC or does the skin need an update?

Since doing a clean install of windows. I too am having the issue for the skin not installing correctly / loading up.

Even using just Javis 16.0 the skin will not load properly.

Im using Github version. Followed all the instructions. It will not install properly (Eg Install from ZIP file) thus i have to manual install.
I have the dependencies loaded / installed before hand, but the skin still seems to hang on loading.

Also i noticed that when the skin did manage to load (by going into settings, then backing out) the Spotlight Feature will not load backgrounds / the Top menu does not work (Pressing up to see Featured / Recently New TV, etc)..

I suspect its due to Skin Shortcuts?

What can info can i provide to help trouble shoot / support this?

My RP2 with OSMC seems to have a corrupt install (won't boot anymore). Before I try to do a fresh install, is there an easy way to copy my config for the Arctic Zephyr skin? I played around with this for a while to get it the way I wanted, and don't want to have to go through config again.

I'm pretty sure there is a backup in skin settings. It's in the bottom menu in skin settings (sorry, not in front of kodi now)

Can someone tell me how I can add a widget to the home screen that'll play the trailer for an upcoming movie when I click on it? What add-ons would I need to add to support this?

I don't think the tv is the problem. The same tv has bars when I output via RasPi and no bars when outputting via PC.

No idea why. Maybe an hdmi specific option...

Is there a way/mod to increase the number of PVR channels widget items in home screen
Default is 10 for all widgets but would be nice to match the number of available channels for live TV

Hi,

I have installed the last version of the skin and now the Card view in the PVR is very big, it only shows a grid of 2x2 channels. Before the update the grid was of 4x5.

There is an option to increase the grid.

Quick question; does this skin support showing movie er series info when pausing?

On my firetv with Emby I get a movie poster and some info when pausing but artic zephyr only shows a pause menu.

Not really a big deal but just for show. Google showed some pics of artic with a osd during pause but not sure if that is this version.
