Confirmed here too. Is this a known issue, and can we do anything to help debug?

I too kodi went bootloop on the sad face since the last update. Given that I am using Google translate for the (bad) translation, I just wanted to know if we have to wait to solve this problem a new kodi update that allows us to reinstall Xperience or is there something else to do

I currently have a problem and I believe it is skin related.

I am running Openelec on a Cubox-I4pro.

Randomly when switching screens kodi will crash. Openelec is still running as I can SSH into the box just fine.

The debug log allways ends with DEBUG: ------ Window Deinit (Home.xml) ------
There is never a Window init () following this and I can't do anything else. Kodi is totally unresponsive to any input either through the remote, a keyboard or the Yatse app or the official Kore app.

This is my debug log:

It happened when starting a youtube video through the Yatse app this time but can happen when going into any menu starting from the homescreen.

This looks very similar to a problem when switching profiles someone had. He claimed it only happend with this skin

It happens very randomly. It can work just fine for hours and then suddenly happen so it's not easy to reproduce.

Even with the last update kodi if you go to reinstall the skin Xperience kodi freezes and goes back into bootloop on the sad face

Hello guys,

Thanks for this skin. I've been using it for a long time and would like to continue but... Xperience1080 doesn't appear in the list of available skin and additional ones and it just doesn't want to install, from repo or from ZIP file...

Kodi 16.1-RC2 under Linux Mint 17.3

Any clue ?

Hello,

Just upgraded to Kodi 16.1 stable on my Linux Mint PC and Xperience1080 still doesn't appear in the list... and is the only skin not available ! If I try to install Xperience1080 from a zip, a message tells me that the xbmc.python dependancy is not available.

Can anybody tell me how to solve this problem ?

hi there, 3 things:

1. Is there a way to disable IMDB ratings? So no ratings at all are shown on movie posters.

2. How can I disable the "marked as unwatched" circle on the top right of posters?

3. Is there really still no recording icon added on the info bar? (When in Live TV). I asked for this a year ago and Piers wanted to implement it.

Running Aeon Nox Silvio for months now without an issue on profile switch.

I have the same problem on Openelec generic and only with Xperience1080

Same here, using Libreelec.

I can also happen when kodi isn't being used and the screensaver is on.

I can't trace the source of this issue. I have tried. I'm 70% certain it's down to animations, but I've seen this issue occur on other skins since the new DX implementation. However, mentioning that to the team gets me shouted at so I'm keeping my distance.

Maybe we can trace it down by removing animation which are involved by switching profiles.
With xperience skin the issue occured very often to me on switching profiles.
So maybe i can try reproduce it again with the animations.
Its a long road to go but maybe it is worth a try.
