I'm trying to get my Favorites to display when I first start Kodi. This guy seems to have done it, but he didn't post specific instructions and I can't seem to figure it out.

Can someone explain how to set up Amber so that Favorites display like this as soon as Kodi launches?

All that picture shows is the actual Amber vertical home. Are you really wanting to add individual addons to the home screen?

I am, but I stumbled on to my solution of first having to add items as favorites in order for them to show up as options in the Home Menu settings.

One easy option is to use Super Favorites addon to create folders in Favorites. Later you can use those folders as Home Menus.
