1126 version worked fine with xbox 1.3 / samsung / xbmp dashboard, running as a program in menu. subtitles (even international versions) worked fine, samba (v 2.x) accepted same specs as with xbmp 2.x.
what is most outstanding is loading speed of the directories; i have one directory with 500 music-vids inside and previously with xbmp it took about 20-30 seconds to load, now it takes less than second (instant). also "find picture / specs from imdb" works fine, although dots and lines in filenames seems to fuzzy search too much.
only oddity seems to be smb timeout / freeze (wont write to log anything), but i think i can manage to get that working (perhaps it has to do something with buffers in samba). most likely snd / pic buffers are not synced as about 100 megabytes get through and after that it freezes.
just installed 1129 version and same thing. i got to tweak my samba settings some more.
and ftp is excellent addition to core version!
