Please keep in mind that the Kodi keyboard layout is based on a default PC keyboard. That means if you have something different set as input layout (QWERTZ, AWERTY, ... ), the buttons won't be sorted alphabetically.

In this case I think i like your NumPad-Design much more!
Also because at the moment many users don't like the actually Keyboard Layout at the ATV4.

Maybe is the best way if you add a button to choose between both Designs, what do you think?!

Personally I think (and correct me if I'm wrong) but this is suppose to be an exact as possible copy of the ATV4 skin, in that case the original one should be used.
If we start compromising now we'll end up with another 'based on ATV' skin which there are many out there now

Both are cool but I prefer the Pineapple from the second pic but the kodi logo looks not so good yet

UPDATE:
I think I find a solution to add both variants of the keyboards (original and Themed) to the skin. I will test it and will look if this works

It works and I add both in my skin so you can deside with that what you prefer to use

This Skin will include two variants of Keyboards (Normal and Original version) -->look in GIF
Changeable Button will be in the Skin Settings
