Hi,
One feature that would be awesome to add (and would really help the WFA) would be the ability to catch back up to live TV on the PVR.
The way i see this working is :
Pause the TV for 15/20 minutes (or any amount of time), start watching TV by pressing play, rather than having to skip/big skip / fast forward through the time shifted channel, press X button(to be defined / mapped) to get back to live TV.
Some things that would need to be set able would be :
Ability to map the function to a button (keyboard or remote)
Ensure any forced buffering (from advanced settings) is adhered to
An example of this on non-kodi is sky in the UK, if you have time shifted pressing the stop button once resumes live, pressing it again stops the channel.
I would value others feedback on the idea and most importantly the feedback of the development team to say if it's achievable
Thanks
Phil
