I didn't realize until now that music visualizations are not working, e.g. I can't see Milkdrop even I select it. I can confirm that it's working with confluence skin.

I'm using the Jarvis version

Music visualizations *are* working in the Jarvis version, but they take a bit of finagling to get set up properly (I just spent a few days getting them working myself).

Here's what worked for me:

Settings > Skin Settings > Background > Show music visualization in background
Settings > Skin Settings > Background > Don't show now playing video in background*
Settings > Skin Settings > Background > Show fanart*
Settings > Skin Settings > Background > Don't show extra fanart*

(Not sure if these are necessary, but what I prefer)

Settings > Skin Settings > OSD > Show artist slideshow
Settings > Skin Settings > OSD > Show visualization behind slideshow
Settings > Appearance > Screensaver > Use visualization if playing audio
Settings > Music > Playback > Visualization > (Select default, can be changed on fullscreen playback screen)

Start playing a song, go to fullscreen mode (tab) and then pull up onscreen settings (m).
- Ensure that 'Visual Text' is disabled (red). It seems like this can be re-enabled after visualizations are working, but I had to turn it off initially to get them to appear.
- 'Visualisation': select a visualizer.

You may need to stop the song and close and restart Kodi for the settings to be saved and visualizations to start.

Sorry for taking so long to respond. Had personal matters to take care of. Android is a little screwy on how it displays folders. You will have to go to File Manager and select "add source". Then go to "Browse" and select "External Storage" then name it what ever you want. Then when you go back to restore backup file, the new name you called "External Storage" will be selectable in the File browser. Open that and all your folders will be visible. Then locate where you put the backup file.

I do apologize for everyone waiting for Alpha 3; I have been really busy so I haven't been able to sit down to resolve the conflict in merging branches let a lone take a look at the newest code for distribution across the CDN through our new repository.

Alpha 3 will be out as soon as I am able!

I haven't even checked the Mac version yet so I'm running super behind. The day I move had been moved up so as you can imagine, everything in my life is a bit hectic right now.

Hi i'm a new user to this skin and I like it so far but I have one question. How do i set up widget for a section.. When i go to widgets its just says enter label but it does not let me select a path to pull from one of the addons. If someone could help me out would it appreciate it thanks guys.

Was reading the Change Log for the (V17) Denvers build 4.2.20-alpha2 and noticed this Gem:

I just wanted to make sure before i update to the new Denvers Build that your NOT talking about the Banner View type but the original pop up info thing from Arctic Zephyr. If i remember correctly you were having problems getting the code to work / fixed.

Reason im asking for clarification is because the Banner View type is on of the main reasons i use this skin

@soxism - First, thank you! I'm glad you enjoy the skin.

To answer your question, the reference to "Info Banner Code" is referring to the On Screen Display that was supposed to pop-up with the info for 8 seconds at playback start which as you know was having quite a bit of issues so it was put aside.

The Banner View type is still there and working fine.

I am not really certain how I missed that one when testing. Must have done it too quickly and didn't bother to check to make sure the Settings page still loaded.

Alpha 4 will be pushed out later today via both the Repo and CDN zip (and Git, naturally). The Emby Repo will get it tomorrow when I have time to log in and upload the files.

As per the usual, it may take up to 12 hours for your Kodi to receive the update (we're going to try and get that cut down to 2 hours but it seems a bit excessive given updates aren't normally shotgunned released).

Edit - The invalidation on Verizon Enterprise Anycast is in progress and will take 10-15 minutes to complete. After that, Kodi will start presenting updates for Alpha 4. Depending on things out of our control, that still means it may take up to 12 hours.

I will add the information to an Alpha 4 update post as soon as I am able.
