Instead of requiring those of us that want the old functionality of jumping back on unpause (per the addon's name and description) instead of pause, could it just be made an option? I'm honestly a bit confused why it wasn't done that way to begin with, instead of just changing it. Going back to an old version is not only a less than ideal solution due to losing out on other changes/fixes, but I don't even know if it can be done on the Shield TV. I like the idea of this addon, but often when I pause a video I'm trying to freeze the image to get a better look at something, and that's a pain to do when it jumps back upon pausing.

The setting to exclude HTTP sources doesn't seem to be working. I'm expecting that if I have that setting turned on then unpause jump back should not be active when streaming content...but it still is. Is my understanding of that setting correct?

I certainly could post a debug log but I'm not actually reporting a failure. It doesn't fail, it just doesn't do what I think it should do. As I said, when I turn on exclude HTTP sources, I expect that when I'm streaming content and press pause it does not jump back. But it does jump back whether I have that setting turned on or off.
At this point I just want to verify that my understanding of that setting is correct. Thanks!

In the log i could see if it is really http that gets used for streaming. There multiple other protocols that can be used for streaming - http is only one of them...

Ah, got it. After further experimentation, turns out the Issue I was trying to solve had nothing to do with Unpause Jumpback. Really appreciate your patience and willingness to help. This is a great community!

Is there a reason it isn't developed for krypton & leia? I must have installed it back in gotham days, and it still works in krypton.

It is ... the repos work different then you think
If an addon is not found in the repo for the current kodi version it looks in the repo for the version before - rins & repeat - until the addon is found ... it needs only to go into a newer branch if it becomes incompatible for older kodi versions ...
