The easiest way is to use Schedules Direct in the Settings\Lab2 section but it does cost a reasonable $25/year.
http://www.schedulesdirect.org/
My version uses the code from EPG-Direct:
http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=287868

There are a couple of experimental tv sources in Lab2 depending on what country and provider you use.
I don't guarantee that I will keep them updated, so don't rely on them as your primary source.

There are several grabbers that help find xmltv sources such as the ones from xmltv.org itself:
http://wiki.xmltv.org/index.php/Main_Page
and mc2xml
http://mc2xml.hosterbox.net/

You could use Webgrab+Plus:
http://webgrabplus.com/
and my addon to make configuring it easier:
Webgrab+Plus Configurator
http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=285918

And of course Google should be able to find a few pre-made xmltv files too.

Thank you very much for your reply, much appreciated. Do you know of any pre-made xmltv files?
Also in your add-on TV Guide Fullscreen Would it be possible to add a pre-made TV guide?

They are the same as TV Guide Fullscreen but just in a normal Kodi Directory List. I don't think they are really needed now because I've just about pulled in all their functionality into TV Guide Fullscreen. You can get to the Listings views with the Number keys or the Lists menu in the main context menu. Have a look in Settings \ Help \ Command Keys.

@primaeval, thanks for your attention. I dont understand about the codes, but as an user I noticed that in PVR Simple Client (Titan skin) the images matches over than 90℅, while in the TVG Fullscreen for the same programs the images dont match. Doesn't matter I like your work anyway, I just disable this function .Thank you, keep it up.

What languages are you using?

I'm using bing.com for the initial search for movies and thetvdb.com for tv shows. Movies are from imdb.com. If I know which languages are giving problems, I should be able to change the language those sites interpret the title as.

0.0.172
- fuzzy program image matching Settings in Lab1

There are now different levels of matching for program images: Exact, Containing, Any. The default is Containing.
TVDB is for TV Shows. IMDB is for Movies.
If you still get a bad match press (m, menu) to clear the image. (not the context menu, c)
You can clear the image url cache here too.

Please let me know if this is better.

Hi Primavel.

The TV Guide Fullscreen add-on has been amazing. I just wanted to ask if you knew what XMLTV URL you used from your add-on "TV Listing (yo.tv)" so I can use it on the TV Guide Fullscreen.

Your help is much appreciated.

Thanks.

The yo.tv sources don't use xmltv data. They scrape the yo.tv series of websites directly.

In TV Guide Fullscreen the "yo.tv" and "yo.tv now" Lab2 Data Sources do the same.

In yo.tv all the channels are hidden at first. You can enable more of them in the main Context Menu\Channels.

In "yo.tv now" all the channels are visible but only the current 3 programs are shown.
It scrapes the data from the yo.tv mobile web site and should refresh every hour.

You can select several yo.tv countries at once.

1) What US TV Guide websites can i grab from?

2) Is the software virus free?

I think Webgrab++ is pretty safe. The devs have photos of themselves in their forum so I would trust them.

My addon is all in python so you can read the code yourself and see what it does.

Webgrab++ covers most channels:
http://webgrabplus.com/epg-channels

If you use my addon there is a Wizard for the US based tv.com and directv.com in the Lab.

If you've got a spare $25 try SchedulesDirect. They definitely cover all the US satellite, cable and terrestrial providers for every zip code. There is a free trial for a week or so.

That's great, thank you. I have KODI & your add-ons running on my raspberry pi and i would have WebGrab ++ running on my windows laptop, would your addon still work that way? Also does the file update its self (in terms of upcoming programmes) or would I have to keep downloading the tv guide to get next weeks programme viewing?

Hopefully that makes sense. Your help is much appreciated.
