Same problem here, can't install beta 5. All dependencies have been updated and the install gets to 20% and fails.

Kodi Krypton beta 5 has a bug where you need to create a temp directory under userdata otherwise updates won't install - that I fixed prior.

I went through and checked each dependency listed above against my installs and they all seem to be there?

UPDATE- went back a page and yes I'm on windows

Could you try installing this first before attempting to again install Beta 5?

Tried the 1.0.10 Beta anyway which updated fine. Updating skin to Beta 5 failed, which I'm pretty certain is more to do with Krypton Beta 5 issues on windows than the skin package itself.

i just tried this with a fresh krypton , the first shortcut "simpljson" failed to install so that stopped the lot , so am still at the stage where AZ danvers will not load into krypton as none of the dependencies will load all fail.

Not 100% but I am pretty sure that only lists add-ons specific to Krypton... You can check the GitHub source. Skin Shortcuts should be on Kodi repo for Isengard and up.

It probably is,but considering danvers is for krypton, it might be part of the dependencies not met issue.

You won't see it on http://mirrors.kodi.tv/addons/isengard/ due to some magic happening behind the scenes with the type of addon it is, but it's definitely on the Isengard repository (and therefore v1.0.10 is available for Isengard/Jarvis/Krypton) - http://mirrors.kodi.tv/addons/isengard/s...nshortcuts

surely thats just the equivalent of what i tried , I used the community portal to get simplejson instead of tv addons and krypton rejected it , just tried using the link posted above from official site , krypton rejected that as well.
EDIT have tried simplejson from 5 different sources , no good.

just as a test i tried to install a couple of skins from within the krypton settings , arctic zephyr and aon nox , bothe failed to install beecause of simplejson error.

am on a mac and its a simple job to do that, so
i unpacked the script module simplejson3.3.0 zip, then placed the folder in kodi - addons.
then tried installing script .skinshortcuts 1.0.8 get "unidecode failed ", same with 1.0.10
then tried installing the original repo, northbridge , then northbridge repo with addons.xml re[placed with the one from the link you posted all failed.
tried with a nightly build as well same

Most strange. There is a module named unidecode see : http://mirrors.kodi.tv/addons/krypton/sc...unidecode/
But all this is simply going in loops.
settings -- debug on.
attempt to install skin.
debug off
grab the debug.log
post it to paste.bin or similar
and post link.

you won't believe this , dear me, the kodi addon repo wont open in krypton , i cant get at any kodi addons including the debug log , its like this is cursed
there isnt even a program addons heading in my addons.
