The Kodi addon repo won't open? Seriously?
Uninstall Kodi,wipe user data folders and start from scratch. Something isn't right. The repo is compiled as part of Kodi.

Grab the latest nightly from here http://mirrors.kodi.tv/releases/osx/x86_64/
(I'm assuming you are running an Intel based Mac and not the old PowerPC ones....)

Did you set the switch button in SkinSettings? Under the category "Extras" there is a Button to turn on/off Dormer notice.

Let me know how you make out. This is working for me.

7yr old imac not sure about spec most likely is intel. I have already uninstalled kodi wiped all folders and re installed at least 6 times but will have a go now with your nightly link.

I must apologize for the Weather section. I have not worked on that part of the skin. Music alone took a lot of work, was working on the different colours for the watched, u watched, resume and now playing colours. So many areas needed improved upon.

2nd. The icons on the Home screen were set that way as per @Guardian Hope request. Home screen is going through major changes. So just hold tight.

3rd. I will check the Plot not scrolling for the Widgets.

ok just installed the above , i haven't tried to do anything with it yet but , when i opened kodi all the addon updates failed.

tried installing fron zip .
script.skinshortcut - simplejson failed
repo northbridge - failed to install file from zip
also , i have a PC running windows 7 .
just downloaded krypton , and repeated the above on PC , exactly same result.
kodi repo ( on mac ) wont open again , all icons on it are greyed out excepy "update and auto update " and when selecting update it says none available.
just checked on windows PC , kodi repo is the same

been trying latest danvers version from two of the release sites , the third release site is down i think, see my post above , have been trying for two days on Imac using OS X el capitan
then in the last hour i tried on PC running windows7

Do me a favor. Go to settings and select the Estuary skin. Then will in the Estuary skin go to the NortheBridge repository and select the new Danvers update, and see if all the dependencies are meet, and the skin actually installs.

Let me know how you make out.

I have been on the esuary skin the whole time that is the default skin when I DL krypton , I can try switching to estouchy ?

been using the " mac OS X beta build 64bit, also tried tonight with the current nightly build and also i tried an older version that lusephur posted.

I can't test MacOSx, but I can vouch for Windows 10 and Android 5.0. Both installed fine, using latest nightlies.
Both came from the NortheBridge repository. I think @Guardian Hope can test Mac.

On your Mac, was it an update or a clean install?

clean install , i switched from jarvis/dorman because that update last weekend made my kodi freeze on the start up page every time i tried to log in , still doing it even after yesterdays update so i had to uninstall it completely .
