Just to update that everything seems to be working fine now! I think it was the latest Danvers update that fixed everything but the problem seems to have gone and I have got my widgets back! I'll keep you guys posted if the error pops up again but I am a happy man now so a big thanks to all the contributors to this great skin. Keep up the good work!

When I am trying to install the BETA8 software there is on my OSMC kodi 17.0-BETA6 ( https://discourse.osmc.tv/t/testing-kodi...nued/14628 ) latest updated version, I just get a sad face... I am installing from the repository.... when I try to install the non preview I am getting a (The dependency on xbmc.gui version 5.10.0 could not be satisfied)

So what log do you need here the kodi.log so see what is going wrong here??

I can install the Arctic: Zephyr v. 2.3.5 but would like to run the latest version here.

That is the video information screen that pops up when you select what you want to watch. I believe there is a setting in From Ashes Danvers to force the display of the screen if you don't automatically see it (most systems will go to that screen if using a remote - on a keyboard simply press "i" on the video from any view to bring it up.

Use BETA 9: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=...pid2496235 which is available from the NBD Repo 2.0, direct download, and Emby (tomorrow when I hunt down my credentials for Emby's repo - I've had medical appointments to attend to).

BETA 7 and BETA 8 will cause Kodi 17 to crash due to Caitlin Snow files (For Another Age) that are incorrectly present but were fixed in BETA 9.

Remember, the next update to From Ashes Danvers will be after the From Ashes Project team meeting. Danvers' code quality is not as high as I would like it to be for something that's about to enter its tenth beta and part of that is the toolset needed to get community feedback just isn't there yet. From Ashes Danvers is trying to please everyone but now we have to decide what we want, what gets postponed to For Another Age, and what just gets cut because it's too niche.

I got a serval Samsung TV, and don't have keyboard connected to my rasp pi3. So is there a way I can program a key on my remote to open this info, today when I press info, the tv info pops up, on what hdmi i am on, and how my power my tv consumes, but I would rather have this type of info.

3: Now the triggy part for (as a noob that I am) the turning of the settings, with the pressing of i on my remote, is how can I change the behavior of this? Do I have to change the keymap of the given button right? Which i can find here: System -> Settings -> System -> Input Devices -> Peripherals -> CEC adapter correct? Sorry for my might stupid question here. Just want to be sure.

Okay, everything except installing Beta 9 is pretty much incorrect. You do not need to install Extended Info, it is installed for you by From Ashes Danvers as it's required by the skin to use. You already have it.

The only thing you need to do to make that dialog appear by default: Settings -> Media -> Videos -> Default Select Action (Under "All" ) -> Select "Show Information"

Then, whenever you go to any of you video media in your library, when you press the "select" or "ok" button on your remote (Samsung SUHD remotes would have this be that inner ring button - basically, whatever you press to navigate through the various menus) the video information screen will appear instead of it immediately starting playback.
