Thank you for all your time and very good work. Just what seems to me as a one small bug:
My LiveTV OSD is lacking the REC button. It's the circular one on the left. The picture below shows it and is taken from the Eminence 2 standard skin. When I apply your Eminence 2 MOD skin (v.2.0.5) the REC button does not show up.

I'm not sure why the button isn't in the skin. Anyways, it will be included in the next update!

NOTE: Be sure to update the colorpicker to version 1.0.11, since it contains important bugfixes. With this version, all colour settings are confirmed to be working.

I've removed the skin busy spinners, because the resource addon already had most of them, in better quality, and they can be used with multiple skins. When you install the resource addon, the process works just as before. I've also added more skin helper dependencies to reflect the latest code changes.

The fake CD is available only as a backup, when disc artwork isn't available. There's a setting enabling it. If it's disabled, the default one will be the regular cd underside.

The distro shortcuts are available when you have them installed, obviously. I couldn't find a better way to place them, so they will be occupying a solitary spot in the main settings' third row that you'll have to scroll down to.


@SkywalkerPD: Keep in mind that the latest upgrade above changes some code, so the settings are now backed up by the skin helper backup service addon, and you need to restore them using the same add-on, if you want to keep your skin shortcuts as well. The backup should be located in Kodi\userdata\addon_data\script.skin.helper.skinbackup by default. There should be a "skin.eminence.2.mod.Krypton.zip" containing a bunch of files from the skin and skin shortcuts settings. So you can freely move it along across configs.

If you backed up using a previous version, there's a possibility of some errors, since those versions used skinhelper service code that marcel was/is phasing out. I'd advise updating the skin to the latest version on all your configs, making a fresh backup, and then restoring it using the same version skin. If you take the zip and place it in the same spot in your other config, the restore function should auto-detect it. Alternatively, you can just change the location in the add-on settings.

The closing tag on line 11 is missing:

Scanned some more:

I also found that if you select Music -> New smart playlist, that all selected values are displayed as ?0? or ?-1?

Is that also what you see or is that in my setup alone?

That's interesting. I've seen it before, and I thought there was something funny going on. But then I checked and it's the same in Eminence 2.5, and since I've never made smart playlists myself, I just assumed that it was supposed to be that way.

Anyways, I've fixed the errors you've found, and also tried to fix that dialog. I had to change the buttons, but IMHO it's a lot better and cleaner now.

I've tried using the PVR Demo Client to see if anything was broken, and I never got an empty menu. What part of the interface is that? Maybe I missed it.

As far as I know, no. The best that could be done is using something like simple favourites or super favourites and adding the things you want in a list, then make a widget pointing to that addon.

Hey all.
I use OSMC on my pi2 which just got updated to Krypton 17.1
(".1" is the result of a few extras worked in by OSMC to the Kodi17 build).

I've just installed Eminence 2.0.
It's good but I'd like to try this modded version .

Before I DL the zip on the OP (master) and go install it, I want to check.

-----wil this installation interfere with the original 2.0 install or will it be selectable alongside it? (Cos I've been there before with Aeon Nox and it can be a headache!)

Nope, it installs in a separate folder, and all settings are separate, so you can have both. Before installing, I'd advise you to install marcelvedt's beta repo, so the skin dependencies will be able to install themselves, or otherwise manually download all the latest skin helper modules from his repo. This mod includes a lot of extra stuff and uses the latest skinhelper code to deliver.
