Hi,
the token of the stream is expiring and not getting renewed.
I have removed the quality setting in version 1.6.0 (requires kodi 17) which might fix this.

Thanks Jin.
1.6.0 is working sweetly for me on Kodi 17.1.

Hi,
Sorry to resurrect this thread, but it seemed like a logical place to post rather than creating a new one.
Firstly thanks to JinJin for a great addon - finding it really great to watch Eurosport the same way as I watch everything else!
Now for the request!
Would it be at all possible to be able to record a program so that I can watch it later? E.g. I would sometimes like to be able to record an entire broadcast as it goes out live on Eurosport 1 or 2 to watch later, rather than relying on the videos that Eurosport may or may not make available after the event?
Hopefully this is something that would be fairly easy to add??
Many thanks!

Hi,
sorry but you will have to stick to the provided videos by eurosport as i'm not going to add such function.
If its not explicitly available in their apps or website, it won't be in the addon.

Hi JinJin
Ok thanks for taking the time to reply.
There also seems to be a bug that causes the add-on not to load sometimes. I just opened it up to see what was on. There was nothing I wanted to watch so I exited and watched some TV. When I try to launch the add-on again I just get an error... Something like: Eurosport Player failed to open, check the log for details.
I tried restarting and still doesn't work.
Not sure where to look for the logs but happy to provide those if it helps.
FYI I'm on Openelec 7.0.1, which is Kodi 16.1, running v1.4 of the add-on.
Hope you can fix it!

I have the same problem with v1.4 running on my raspberry pi.
Works great on my x86 media center with v1.6

Is updating Kodi to v17 (Libreelec) no option for you?
I dont really want to maintain the old one anymore.

Hi JinJin,
Thanks for the bug fix.
There's another issue which is happening now, but I don't know if there's anything that can be done about it...
I was watching a programme earlier and more than once, the stream just stopped and I was taken back to the listing page. I clicked on the same stream again and it opened and continued playing straight away, so not a massive issue, just a bit inconvenient. The log shows the following entries at the time that the stream ended prematurely:

Well yeah nothing i can do here.
You seem to have lost connection to the stream for whatever reason.

Recently started getting an error when loading the addon. Am I to understand that you will only be supporting the addon for v17 going forward? I'm running Jarvis 16.1 on Windows 7 using version 1.4.0. Thanks for the addon

Hi JinJin
More info on this in case it's useful; i tried using ffmpeg with the same URL as is being used by the add-on. It saves the stream to disk for about 10 minutes before stopping with the error:
Error access denied, unable to reload playlist.
I've found that watching the stream with the add-on lasts about the same amount of time before stopping as mentioned above.
So it seems to be that the token is expiring during playback.
Restarting playback obviously renews the token and then you get another circa 10 minutes...
