I solved my LAN problems with media server and dvbviewer addon: it was the windows 10 firewall!

Even with outbound rules allowing all traffic for media server and dvbviewer pro (public and private) live tv (and recordings) were not reaching LAN clients until i turned off the windows firewall.

i also have windows ten 15063.296 without any problems inside of my LAN. disable the firewall is no secure option. you can use reset to standard settings instead.
maybe just the wrong port is enabled? 8089 is the standard port.

Yes it's not secure but now live tv on LAN works and before it didn't even will all access granted by firewall rules for the service and the exe.

RTSP stream worked, channel list and EPG too but live tv was not streamed.

It only worked when i disabled windows firewall.

I don't use the HTPC for anything else than NAS for Kodi library and live tv server so i don't need a firewall at all, maybe i will install eset smart when i need to do some maintenance and websites access.

Small update: Leia will require 1.33.2 or above. Kodi K M* might require DMS.

Are you sure that it is this way around? Krypton is current version. Leia will be next. Or do you mean M*?

I can't get dvbviewer addon working in latest kodi Leia nightly with latest DVBViewer and DMS Version.
No error Information in Kodi logs. All fine, but no EPG or Channels in Kodi.

When I reinstall Kodi 17.3, with no changes in Settings in Kodi or DVBViewer, it all works fine.

I'm on Win10 x64. Any suggestions?

Same here, since around 10 days it's not working in Kodi 18 Leia Nightly builds.

It connects correctly to Media Server because it checks user and pass with no errors, if i set a wrong user or pass i get the error message.

No channel list or EPG is received.

Kodi 17 works fine.

Might be related to new favourites parsing. Can someone please send me the output of http://<rs_ip>:8089/api/getchannelsxml.html?fav=1&subchannels=1&upnp=1&logo=1 (use some paste service please)

I'm not at home now and i forgot to enable WOL in the HTPC where the Media Server is running but what i can say is that i reinstalled Kodi 18 from scratch and still the same, i have no defined favorites in media server or dvbviewer or Kodi 18.

When i reach home i will post a link to the log you need.

Best guess: I'm skipping the favourites group (first one) which in fact is your tv channel group.
Edit: But I can tell with the API output.
