I think you're right if you say this issue is only triggered with ddci, but Jasmin the author of ddci2 saying she does nothing wrong ;-) .

Because fingerpointing helps no one, maybe you can contact her to find a solution ? She would appreciate it.

can confirm this behavior too.

same situation like sharky1337 have. the only difference my clients are Rpi3 (on LibreElec 8.0.2)
Network is complete wired with professional grade switches etc.

No Problems with TVHeadend or DVBViewer Backend (and Plugins) ...
Would be really cool if you can contact jasmin.
